Domain Control Validation (DCV) Email 列印本文
When configuring an SSL Certificate a generic email address associated with the domain name or the email address used in the domain whois information is the easiest way to verify ownership of a domain. This is called the Domain Control Validation email (DCV). When you configure your order please select or create an email you know you have access to.
SSLGURU will automatically look up the email listed in the whois directory but privacy protection must be disabled for our system to pull the correct email, then privacy can be re-enabled (managing your privacy protection can be done from within your domain panel). The certificate authority will send an email to verify that the applicant is the administrator of this email address before any further action is taken. If you have access to that email, you can follow the included instructions to approve the certificate in just a few seconds.
To find the correct email address or to access your privacy protection, please contact your domain administrator, IT manager, hosting company, website developer or the person that would create new email addresses for your company.
Available generic DVC email addresses:
» [email protected]
» [email protected]
» [email protected]
» [email protected]
» [email protected]
Please disable your privacy protection or create one of the above emails before you complete the SSL configurator. If you need to change the DCV email address please contact us.
For all other questions please visit our Knowlegebase, Contact us page or submit a Support Ticket.
