What is a Wildcard option?  Print this Article

Certificates with a Wildcard option, secure the main domain name (e.g. your-address.com) and unlimited subdomains (all domain names which have any character before main domain - e.g. a.your-address.com, b.your-address.com, c.your-address.com etc.). It is easier to use the wildcard option because it allows you to secure every section of your website with just one certificate.
