What does full validation mean?  Print this Article

A full validation certificate verifies that the certificate owner is a legal entity. The set of procedures will authenticate the contact using WHOIS, it will also verify the existence of a physical address of the person (company or organization), then check government records to confirm a business is legally established and will require copies of documentation – incorporation papers etc.
