How to run SSL in the Magento?

To run SSL in Magento system proceed as follows:

  1. Log in to the Magento admin panel.
  2. Go to: System / Configuration / Web / Secure.
  3. In the Base URL change http:// to https://.
  4. Under Use Secure URLs in Frontend change the value to Yes.
  5. Under Use Secure URLs in Admin change the value to Yes.
  6. Click Config Save to save the changes.
