To encrypt sessions on your website, is required to install on your server: certificate issued for your page (domain name) and 2 CA certificates as a chain on your server. It includes intermediate CA and root CA certs.


Note: Do not shutdown or restart the server until all steps will be completed.

For installation:

  1. Login to the server.
  2. In the first tab Servers select the Manage Servers option.
  3. In the next step select the Security tab and then click the third option on the left - Install Certificate.
  4. Select Server Certificate Chain option.
  5. Type the password.
  6. Open Root CA in a text editor and paste it to the Message Text box (with the BEGIN and END lines). Click OK and accept the certificate.
  7. Repeat this steps with intermediate CA.
  8. Now open the certificate issued for your website. Repeat steps: click Install Certificate, and now select This server option (instead of Server Certificate Chain). Type the password, open certificate in the text editor and paste it to the Message Text box (with the BEGIN and END lines).
  9. Click OK and accept the certificate.

The chain is installed, so now you have to activate the encrypted sessions:

  1. Stay logged into the server in Manage Server section.
  2. In the first tab Preferences click Encryption On/Off option (the last one on the left menu).
  3. Set encryption to On and type 443 as the port number.
  4. Click OK, then Save and Apply.

Now you can restart your server. Installation is finished.
