IIS: how to create a CSR without removing current certificate?

  1. Create a temporary site within IIS.
  2. Right-click the newly created page and select Properties.
  3. Click the Directory Security, and Server Certificate next.
  4. Server Certificate Wizard
  5. Enter the exact same information you would/have on your existing certificate.
  6. Send us your CSR.
  7. Install the certificate within the temporary site created on start.
  8. Product website
  9. Right-click the newly created page and select Properties.
  10. Click the Directory Security tab Directory Security, then the Server Certificate.
  11. Server Certificate Wizard on production website
  12. Select Replace the current certificate) i and click Next.
  13. Select Next, until you leave console.
  14. Delete the temporary page after certificate installation.
