Start the I-Chain Management using the address: http://youriChain:1959/appliance/config.html
Select the Home-Certificate Maintenance Panel and click Create to create the CSR.

Type all required data:
Certificate name - any name,
Subject name - domain name you want to secure,
Signature algorithm - SHA or MD5,
RSA Key Size - minimum 2048-bit,
Select Use external certificate authority option,
Organization - company name,
City:
State:
Country: select two character country code.
Click OK.

In the next step you will see summary of data you have already typed. Check if every detail is correct and click Apply option to start generating CSR. When it is ready the status will change on CSR in Progress.

To check the CSR use option View the CSR. Copy full text with lines -----BEGIN NEW CERTIFICATE REQUEST----- and -----END NEW CERTIFICATE REQUEST-----. Save the file as a text document - you will need it to issue the SSL certificate.
